Alex Zayne vs Gary Jay

  • This was a good match with plenty of athleticism. The match starts with dives and a 30-40 second brawl at ringside. 3 star match. Winner: Gary Jay in 8:45

Harlow O’Hara vs Jody Threat

  • This wasn’t a great match. Most of the moves missed or was very obviously telegraphed. The girls worked hard and the fans seemed sort of into it. 1.75 stars Winner: Harlow O’Hara in 8:39.

Flip, Flop & Fly Balls vs Bear Country

  • This was a fun tag match with Bear Country towering over the much smaller team, Flip Flop and Fly Balls, which is a creative name. Bear Country eventually get the win with a double team splash. 2.75 star match Winners: Bear Country in 9:37.

Project MONIX vs Aero Boy

  • This was a good American/Lucha style match. Aero Boy took most of the match but Project MONIX won with a DDT. Three star match. Winner: Project MONIX in 9:00

Rey Horus vs Black Taurus

  • This was really fun and the crowd got into it so much that it got a “This Is Awesome” chant. Black Taurus wins the match with a spinning Falcon Arrow. 3.5 star match. Winner: Black Taurus in 12:15

INTERMISSION

Danhausen’s Invitational Mix Scramble – Manders vs IFHY vs Isaias vs Graham Bell vs Danhausen

  • This was mostly comedy match with multiple people. Spots with a jar of teeth, yes, teeth. Nothing really important but the fans enjoyed it. 2.25 stars. Winner: Isaias in 7:43

Larry D vs Dan Maff

  • This is a big-man, hoss match that really got the crowd going. They chopped the hell out of each other, over and over. Dan Maff picks up the win with a burning hammer. Another good match, 3.25 stars. Winner: Dan Maff in 10:23

Mid-West Championship Match – Craig Mitchell vs AJ Gray(c)

  • This fight of a Championship match was largely in the crowd and brawling around the building. About five minutes in, they are back in the ring and it is very visible that Mitchell has a giant bruise on his leg. AJ hits a lariat, which leaves Mitchell upside down and on his head. Good 3 star match. Winner: and still the Mid-West champion, AJ Gray in 9:17

BLP Championship Match – Warhorse vs Kobe Durst(c)

  • Warhorse is basically a rip-off of Ultimate Warrior, but slimmer. At one point the ref takes a bump and Blood Diamond get involved. The tag champs leave a belt in the ring while attacking Warhorse. This is all ridiculous and the announcers point it out. Kobe Durst hits a piledriver off the second rope after Blood Diamond gets involved in front of the referee. I have no time for matches that feature interference that heavily, especially Championship matches. 2 stars. Winner: Kobe Durst in 12:43.

Blood Diamond vs Stunt Doubles

  • This tag team main event was fun but sometimes sloppy with a few missed or forgotten spots. The good bits in the match outweighed the bad, until the end. The main event of this show ends with one of the tag champs, Blood Diamond, getting a chair and wacking Marko Stunt for a disqualification. What a terrible finish. Then they attacked Logan Stunt and gave him a Blue Thunder Bomb from the second rope, through a chair. 2 stars. Winners: Stunt Doubles by DQ in 20:46.

The first half really engaged the fans and gave satisfying conclusions to matches. The final two matches of the show put a real dampener on the night. The main event should not end like that. The wrestlers worked really hard and I feel most fans seemed to have a good time, just a bad conclusion.
