Hiromu Takahashi – INJURY UPDATE

After the IWGP Jr Heavyweight Championship Match between Hiromu Takahashi vs Dragon Lee on July 7th, 2018 at The Cow Palace in San Francisco Takahashi was injured. I posted on this site about it when it was initially reported that Hiromu was rushed to hospital and New Japan Pro Wrestling have released a statement on the current situation and health of Hiromu.

NJPW posted this on their website:

During the game of “G1 SPECIAL IN SAN FRANCISCO” San Francisco Games held at the local time on Saturday, July 7, the 7th game IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship game (Takahashi Hiromu vs. Dragon Lee), Takahashi Hiromu He injured his neck.

After going to the hospital after the game, it is currently undergoing a precision examination, but the person himself is in a state that can sit and talk with consciousness.

It is good that Hiromu is awake and talking but apart from sitting, we don’t know if he can’t move at all. It would be nice to know if he can walk, lift anything, has this affected his strength?

I will be keeping a close eye on this story and will post updates as soon ad it comes in.
