Hiromu Takahashi suffers broken neck at Cow Palace

Multiple sources are reporting that Hiromu Takahashi was “rushed to hospital” last night after the New Japan Pro Wrestling G1USA show at the Cow Palace in San Francisco.

Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alverez of the Wrestling Observer reported on their podcast Wrestling Observer Radio claimed that Hiromu Takahashi was injured in his match against Dragon Lee and had to be “rushed to the hospital after the show” and had suffered a broken neck.

I have reached out to New Japan Pro Wrestling for a statement on his condition and am awaiting a response. When more news comes out on this situation I will post it as soon as possible.

Here is a GIF of the moment that seemed to injure Hiromu.
