NJPW On AXS TV – 7/7/18

Tonight we have New Japan Pro Wrestling live from the Cow Palace, San Francisco. For American viewers this show will be Live on AXS TV with Jim Ross and Josh Barnett on commentary. For Non-US viewers this show will be available live on njpwworld.

This is the second show for NJPW at the Cow Palace with the first being July 1st, 2017. New NJPW president, Harold Meij has had a global vision for the company and has been expanding the company worldwide since his arrival in New Japan. This has been apparent with more tours overseas to places such as the UK, Australia and America to name a few.

This is also a big weekend for AXS TV as this is the second time the NJPW Cow Palace show will broadcast live on the station, expanding the viewership to more American eyes than ever before.

I reached out to AXS TV for a quote and this is what AXS TV FIGHTS CEO Andrew Simon had to say:

“As NEW JAPAN PRO WRESTLING continues their U.S. expansion, we are proud to provide a platform for NJPW and TV Asahi to bring their electrifying events to as many fans as possible through our live, primetime broadcasts. The Cow Palace has a rich history of major pro wrestling events and we are excited to continue that tradition with our presentation of the G1 SPECIAL IN SAN FRANCISCO.”
